Hyderabad: A fire accident occurred at Hussain Sagar last night. Two boats were gutted in the fire, and a 21-year-old youth named Ajay, who had gone with his friends on one of the boats, is missing. While Ajay's friends managed to escape safely, Ajay's whereabouts remain unknown. The police have stated that Ajay has not been admitted to any hospital, leaving his family deeply worried. The lake police are gathering details from Ajay's friends.

The incident happened during the "Bharat Mata Maha Harathi" program conducted by the Bharat Mata Foundation on Sunday night at People's Plaza on Necklace Road. Towards the conclusion of the event, a mishap occurred when some youths boarded two boats and went to the middle of Hussain Sagar to launch fireworks. Sparks from the fireworks ignited a fire when they fell on other fireworks stored on the boats. As a result, both boats caught fire. Although the passengers escaped with minor injuries, two people sustained serious injuries, and one of them is reportedly in critical condition.

Ajay, a resident of the city, had gone to Hussain Sagar with his colleagues. According to his friends, Ajay was on one of the boats. When the fire broke out, all the passengers on the boats jumped into the water. Ajay's friends also managed to escape safely, but Ajay's whereabouts remain unknown. This has caused great concern for his family.

The police have clarified that Ajay has not been admitted to any hospital. They confirmed that no injured person named Ajay is among the list of admitted individuals. Ajay's family is growing increasingly anxious about his fate, and the police are investigating the matter further.
